What is a Giclee?

A Giclee is a individually reproduced, high resolution, high fidelity reproduction, done on a special large format printer. The process uses inkjet technology which has a broader spectrum of color than regular printers, giving the Giclee incredible color accuracy. They are printed on canvas and available "gallery wrapped" a process which extends the color 1 1/2 inches around the painting. This is done so that it may be wrapped around the stretcher bar, in the event that one chooses to hang their art without a frame.
